Unless you've been living underneath a rock the last couple of years you would probably have seen some of these viral videos, including Charlie bit my finger and Nyan cat. 

Recently, on the 9th of March, there was a viral video on BBC World where Professor Robert Kelly was live from his home and in a spectacular fashion his two kids stole the show when they entered the room. His wife soon came running in and took the children out. The world jumped to conclusions and assumed his wife was the family Nanny. This was not the case.

There are many other viral videos that came before this one, here are the top ten:

  1. Charlie Bit My Finger it was created 2007 - what happens is that two boys are sitting on a chair, when Charlie bit his brother's finger. The brother was not impressed and began screaming and said the well-known line "Charlie bit my finger" said by his little brother.
  2. Nyan Cat - this video was released in 2011. It is just of an animated cat releasing rainbows from its butt and this video lasts 3 minutes and 37 seconds.
  3. Leave Britney Alone was released in 2011.  This was a video of a man who dressed up as Britney Spears to defend her when she had cut her hair.
  4. Trololo was created in 2012 and is a Russian baritone singing trolololollol repeated several times.
  5. Badgers was released in 2009 and it is a song about badgers, snakes and mushrooms, using only those words.
  6. Golden Voice Homeless Man was found in 2010 and it is a homeless man who has a "golden" radio voice.
  7. Potter Puppet Pals was made in 2003 and it features Harry Potter characters as puppets.
  8. Charlie the Unicorn was posted on YouTube in 2005. It has three unicorns going on an adventure in a shoe to the magical, candy mountain.
  9. In 2007, Keyboard Cat was released. It features a cat playing random chords on the piano in a blue shirt.
