Being at Hatch End Sixth Form gave me the confidence to start university with ease, as the teachers at Hatch End shared experiences of university helped me to function my workload in studying for my degree.

Since leaving Hatch End in 2013 I have gone on to study Psychology, Counselling and Therapies at the University of Bedfordshire and graduated with a 2.1 in 2017. Alongside studying, I have been a mentor to young people for 5 years and have worked at a counselling firm in Lewisham and gained first-hand experience working as a counsellor.

I’m now going onto Masters to study Counselling Children and Young People at University of Northampton where I aim to get a 1st. My plan for the future is to be a Young Person’s Counsellor and help counsel young people whether in schools or in a counselling firm who have mental illnesses such as Depression, Anxiety and Panic Attacks.
