Hatch End High School is a high performing, happy and thriving comprehensive school in the London Borough of Harrow.
The school has a rich history of tradition but actively embraces the very best of new technologies and innovative practice. We have a high profile in the community supporting other schools and play a lead role in training the next generation of teachers.
We are conveniently situated in the north west of the borough with easy access to Central Harrow as well as Hertfordshire, Brent, Hillingdon and Barnet.
I am very proud to say that our students consistently make outstanding progress and we are in the top 10% of all schools nationally for GCSE. Our A Level performance is consistently well above the local and national average. However, this academic excellence is paralleled by our equal commitment to develop the personality, talents and abilities of all our students. We care about our young people as individuals which means always ensuring a careful balance between challenge and support.
Ofsted, when they visited in 2013, picked up immediately on the palpable sense of inclusion, nurturing and rigour at Hatch End High School when they acknowledged in the very first line of the report – “Students thrive in this school.”
