Last weekend, students taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme headed for Chesham Station to begin their Bronze and Silver practise expeditions.

The Bronze students all showed an outstanding ability to cooperate and problem solve. With no supervision except for pre-determined checkpoints, they navigated their way around the countryside, camped out in tents for a night and cooked some truly gourmet dinners.

The Silver students were out for two nights and managed to find the second camp-site even after being given an incorrect location. A true testament to their ability to problem solve as a team, show self-sufficiency and cooperation with little to no supervision.

Very proud of all involved and looking forward to the next expedition in July near the Seven Sisters Cliffs, East Sussex.
