The Sutton Trust forging links with HEHS

Hatch End High School has been identified by the Sutton Trust (an educational charity in the United Kingdom which aims to improve social mobility and address educational disadvantage) as one of the top performing schools in the country for meeting the needs of ‘more able’ students.  They define ‘more able’ students as achieving particularly highly in Key Stage 2 tests at the end of primary school, and measure the distance between these results to their GCSEs at the end of Year 11.  They may be using the school as a model of national best practice and looking particularly at the many strategies we employ to get the very best out of all our students.
