Future Business Minds

Posted on: 15/06/2018

In the future, we may be talking about some of the students (pictured) who, a few weeks ago, delivered business pitches for investment in their own business ideas. As part of the Year 13 BTEC course, which is close to ending, students had to complete a unit based on their own business idea. As part of the unit, students were expected to research and create their business ideas, before presenting them in an original way to potential investors.

The range of business ideas varied from events and party management businesses to Indian street food and Afghan themed cafes. All the Business Studies students dressed for the occasion and presented their ideas clearly, creatively and, most importantly, in an appealing way - especially when asking for funding! The quality of the pitches was fantastic, the prototypes of products and food samples, high quality and tasty. Maybe, just maybe, we will be seeing our very own Lord Alan Sugar in the future with some of these young business mind.
