MusicSubject Overview

Music is a compulsory subject in years 7 and 8. Students study a range of modules which give them a variety of opportunities to refine and improve their skills in the 3 core areas of music: performance, composition and listening/appraising. Students use a variety of instruments and music technology to aid in their learning. All students participate enthusiastically in lessons.

Music is offered as an optional subject and GCSE and A level using EDEXCEL for the exam board. For further details please refer to the programmes of study.
