Hatch End High School Year 8 Boys’ Football team defeated Whitmore in the 2nd round of the County Cup in a thrilling match.
Hatch End led 3-0 at half time, after a double from Raul Soloman and a strike from Daniel Benford. However, Whitmore hit back with 3 second half goals, to take the game to a nail biting penalty shoot-out.
Despite treacherous wind and rain, Hatch End held their nerve and won the shoot-out and go through to the next round.
Well done to our Year 8 Football Team - a fantastic result!
