Royal Literary Fund Workshop

Posted on: 17/01/2023

Royal Literary FundHatch End High School were delighted to welcome Leigh Russell from the Royal Literary Fund, who spent four hours in school helping our Year 13 students with essay writing skills in advance of their final CAP examinations and their final A Levels in the late Spring.

The workshop is called 'The Bridge' and is designed to assist students, not just with essay writing at school and at university, but also written communication in their wider lives, such as creating letters and email writing.

We are extremely grateful to the Royal Literary Fund for providing this workshop free of charge to the school and for Leigh for her time and her observation that the school is a “purposeful environment”. We hope to build a fruitful partnership into the future.

Well done to all of our students who participated.
