POLITICS

OUR VISION

Politics is a fascinating subject that encourages students to engage with the world around them. Our aim at Hatch End High School is to inspire students to become global citizens, enabling them to increase their political participation and awareness of current events. Students are given the opportunity to explore the challenges facing the modern world and investigate the different ideologies that form the basis of our society today. At Hatch End, students’ study UK politics and government, political ideologies including ecologism, as well as global politics. Analysing a wide range of international issues from the global governance of human rights to the protection of our planet. A thorough knowledge of these topics, alongside the skills acquired through the study of Politics, will be invaluable in today’s rapidly changing world.
