Destination: Brunel University London
Date of Leaving Hatch End High School: July 2012
What am I doing now? I’m currently in my final year and studying a psychology degree at Brunel University. After I graduate next year, I want to do a PGCE and then hopefully go on to become a qualified Special Educational Needs teacher.
Advice for current students? I have some advice: make sure that you start revising for your exams a good few months before. Also, make sure that once you’ve revised a topic that you go over it again and again so that you not only understand it, but also remember the topic very well. If you’re struggling with the work, then don’t try and ignore the problem and hope it will just disappear; make sure that you seek help from your teachers because they’re there to help you. Put in the necessary time and effort that’s needed in order for you to overcome this problem. Lastly, make sure you guys are getting good sleep and eating well, and also you need to make sure that you have created an equal balance between your leisure and study time.
I wish you all good luck for your exams and coursework; just remember that all the hard work that you put in will eventually pay off.
