RELIGION AND ETHICS

SUBJECT OVERVIEW

Religion and Ethics is a well-regarded academic subject at Hatch End High School which all students study up to GCSE and a popular A Level is also offered in the sixth form. We cover a broad range of religions to reflect our diverse mix of students. At Key Stage 3 we introduce the study of religions, focusing primarily on global Abrahamic religions and the traditions of India. Our GCSE focuses on Christianity and Islam as well as offering some other religious and non-religious perspectives and throughout the course. We refer to philosophical and ethical ideas as well as those of faith.
