Astronomy Club Hits Stratosphere!

Posted on: 22/01/2018

Astronomy Club will now take place twice a week. Mr Beshir will be leading it on Thursdays in Room 70 from 3:15 p.m. (same location as last term) and Ms Power will be leading it on Fridays in Room 51/Library from 3:15 p.m. This term, a number of our student astronomers will be showing PowerPoints on their chosen field in room 51 on Friday. Mr Beshir will then take over on Thursdays and complement their PowerPoint with the Maths and Physics side of the chosen field.

As always, all are welcome to Astronomy Club, you can join at any time, just show up!

“I am really passionate about space and astronomy. The thing that makes me the happiest is the encouragement to work at NASA—which is my dream job. Thanks to Ms Power and Mr Beshir, who have also improved my knowledge in subjects like Chemistry, Biology and Physics, as well as making sure to keep me determined to live up to my dream.”
