Destination: University of Hertfordshire
Subject: Business Studies
Date of Leaving Hatch End High School: July 2012
Since leaving Hatch End Sixth Form in 2012, I have graduated with a 2:1 in Business Studies at University of Hertfordshire. I am now working for the University on one of their Graduate Schemes as a Project Officer. Not only did I thoroughly enjoy the experience of university life, I also learned many valuable lessons which I will implement throughout my career (such as research and report writing skills).
Without the extremely helpful teachers at Hatch End and having opportunities to attend events such as an Enterprise Masterclass, I would not have developed a further interest for business and achieved a B grade in the subject at A Level. My advice for current students who are considering University would be to attend as many open days as possible where you can gain a deeper insight into the subject and modules and take advantage of all the facilities provided. University is not only an academic learning experience, but also a life learning one where you will learn to manage your own time and also make life-long friends.
