A Touching TributePosted on: 27/11/2018
A year on... Year 11 held a memorial assembly for their former classmate and friend, Molly Russell, who tragically died last year. It was an emotional, yet dignified occasion which was then followed by a private dedication attended by Molly’s family, close friends and members of staff who knew her best. Flowers were laid and ribbons with personal messages were tied to the trellis which will support the purple rose (Molly’s favourite colour) that will be planted in the quiet, reflective garden. In the words of our Headteacher, “We will always remember you Molly, and value dearly how much you gave in life and taught us tragically in death.” The school will continue to work closely with the Russell family in support of the Molly Rose Foundation.
