Since leaving Hatch End High School and Sixth Form, I have attended the University of Manchester to study Materials Science and Engineering. My degree is quite demanding, so it has taken up the majority of my focus for the past few years. However, fortunately, I have been able to take part in other activities for example, being a part of different projects and initiatives etc.
Currently, I am the student representative for my course which has been a new learning experience. From here, I hope to go onto have a varied career since I am able to thanks to my degree. For current students looking to go to university, my advice would be to carefully think about what you want study and why. Then when you know what you want to study, find the best place you can do so, taking into consideration your needs and wants from the institution since every university is different.
