BTEC Business Breakfast Meeting

Last week, Elvin Mootoosamy, Founder and Managing Director of Recogitate Limited led our Business Breakfast Meeting, with four HEHS BTEC Business Studies students Harris, Dev, Jaini and Renae also in attendance.

This type of business meeting is a fantastic way for our students to see how networking takes place and get involved, have encounters with various entrepreneurs and seize the opportunity to ask relevant questions about the sectors of work they are interested in.
 
Elvin explained how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be used in businesses.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is the intelligence of machines or software, as opposed to the intelligence of humans or animals. It is also the field of study in computer science that develops and studies intelligent machines. "AI" may also refer to the machines themselves.
 
There are currently a number of different AI chatbots available on the market including:

- ChatGPT
- Bard
- Claude
- Perplexity
 
These can be used in a variety of ways in everyday life as well as within your business for marketing and blog content, data analysis, coding, as well as product & logo design and creating videos. 
 
AI is moving very fast and being implemented into businesses, although scary for some it is here to stay and worth being aware of and embracing into your business, as it can save huge amounts of time and money into any business.
