Mental Health Week 2023

Image003 (5)Just before half-term, Hatch End High School held our second Mental Health Focus Week, which coincided with Children’s Mental Health Week.

During the week, students raised money for local charities close to our heart, including the Molly Rose Foundation, Harrow Mind and the Harrow Samaritans.

Harrow Mind and Harrow Samaritans came into school and ran assemblies and workshops for our Sixth Form students.

Sixth Form students held various sales throughout the week to raise money, including sweets, cakes, hot chocolate and merchandise. Staff also took part in a raffle, which both staff and local businesses donated prizes to.

We were also lucky enough to have former Hatch End High School student, Miss Hall, to come into school and give assemblies to lower school students to raise awareness about Eating Disorders and links with Mental Health.

In total, Hatch End High School managed to raise over £700, which is absolutely amazing!
