Explorer Dome Visits KS3 & KS4 - Science Like Never Before!
Posted on: 30/06/2025Thanks to the support of Harrow School and St John’s College, we were lucky to host Explorer Dome for two full days of hands- on, interactive science workshops—and it did not disappoint!
Students from Years 7 to 10 took part in two brilliant sessions all about the human body and cells. From the moment they stepped inside the inflatable dome, it was clear this wasn’t going to be your average science lesson.
In the Body session, students followed the journey of food through the digestive system, learned about healthy eating and enzymes, and explored how the body functions in a fun and visual way. The Cells workshop took things even further, zooming in on the building blocks of life and diving into a giant cell to see how it all works on a microscopic level.
The sessions were fast-paced, packed with facts, and full of laughs—students loved the interactive style and couldn’t stop talking about how much they had learned. A big shoutout to the brilliant Explorer Dome team for keeping it informative and exciting from start to finish.
It was amazing to see students so engaged with science in a way that felt fresh and memorable. Huge thanks again to our funders for making it happen!
