Year 10 Junior Prefects Rewards Trip to Thorpe Park

Posted on: 30/06/2025

On a sunny and exciting day, we, the Junior Prefects of Year 10 were treated to an amazing rewards trip to Thorpe Park – and what a day it was! The trip was organised really well by Ms. Le Fleurier, and it felt great to be appreciated for all the work we’ve done throughout the year.

From the moment we got on the coach, the energy was high. Everyone was buzzing with excitement, chatting about which rides we were going to try first. Once we arrived, we went straight for the big ones – and yes, we managed to ride them all!

One of the biggest highlights of the day was riding Hyperia, the newest and fastest rollercoaster in the UK. It was insane – so fast, so high, and so much fun. Everyone was nervous at first, but once we got off, all we could do was laugh and talk about how awesome it was. It was definitely a memory we’ll never forget.

Even though we didn’t ride Saw, we went on loads of other amazing rides like Stealth, Nemesis Inferno, and The Swarm. The queues weren’t too bad, and the weather was perfect – warm with just a bit of breeze.

More than anything, it was just a fun day to hang out with friends, relax, and enjoy being outside of school. It also gave us time to appreciate being part of the prefect team and what we’ve achieved this year.

Massive thanks to Ms. Le Fleurier and Mr. Farrar who organised everything, drove us there and looked after us.

This trip meant a lot, and we’re all thankful. What a brilliant way to end the year!
