Jack Petchey Awards for Harrow awarded by the Mayor of Harrow - Councillor Anjana Patel

During the performance - the following HEHS students performed.

Boy with the moon in skull cap - performed The Moon and Me from The Addams Family - Caelan W - Year 11

Duet - performed "For Good" from WICKED - Evelyn P Year 11 and Deivpra J Year 10

HEHS were very proud to attend the Jack Petchey Harrow Awards Ceremony to see a number of students and staff presented for a variety of contributions and going above and beyond over the past year.

The Jack Petchey Foundation was set up to inspire and motivate young people and recognise them for their achievements. The Jack Petchey Foundation was set up by Sir Jack Petchey CBE to inspire and celebrate young people. Since 1999, over £180 million has been invested in programmes to benefit young people aged 11-25 across London and Essex. The Jack Petchey Foundation runs an Achievement Award scheme – a reward and recognition initiative which enables schools and youth organisations to celebrate the achievements of their young people as well as receive additional funding.

Congratulations to the following students received medals and certificates:

Mya D, Amber C, Kymani F, Myles A, Robert A, Daniel B, Ruqqa A, Brooke G, Amina SABRI S, Jamie F and Dylan H.

Congratulations also go to  the following staff:

Mr Liam Foxe and Dr Hiren Mehta for receiving LEADER AWARDS and Ms M Dunford for a long service award, having completed  20 years as the Jack Petchey Coordinator for the school.
