Celebrating Success at Hatch: End-of-Term Rewards Assemblies

As the autumn term draws to a close, Hatch High School proudly celebrated the achievements of its students in a series of End-of-Term Rewards Assemblies. These special events took place on Friday, 12th December for Years 7, 8, 9, and 11, and on Wednesday, 17th December for Year 10.

The assemblies were a wonderful opportunity to recognise and reward students for their hard work, progress, and commitment throughout the term. Awards were presented across a range of categories, including:

  • Attendance
  • Punctuality
  • Outstanding Attendance and Punctuality
  • Top 10 Students with the Most Achievement Points
  • Zero Behaviour Points
  • Top 10 Most Improved Achievement Points
  • Top 10 Most Improved Behaviour Points
  • Tutor ‘We Care’ Award
  • Head of Year ‘We Care’ Award
  • Tutor of the Term – winning a pizza party for their tutor group!

We were also fortunate to be joined for the Year 7 assembly by our Chair of Governors, Mr Tim Dalton, who thoroughly enjoyed watching the Year 7 students receive their awards and celebrating their successes.

Each assembly was led by the respective Head of Year, who brought their own unique style and warmth to the occasion. Their heartfelt words and encouragement made the events truly memorable, creating a positive and celebratory atmosphere for all.

These assemblies are more than just a ceremony—they reflect Hatch’s commitment to fostering a culture of Co-operation, Ambition, Respect, and Empathy. Congratulations to all the students who received awards, and to everyone who worked hard this term. We look forward to seeing even more success in the new year!
