The Mozartists visit to Hatch End High School

Students from key stage 3 and 4 were invited to participate in a composition focused workshop in school on Thursday 12^th February. We learned how to come up with simple ideas using inspiration from an existing piece and how to develop or edit our ideas as we go. Students got to enjoy composing with professionals and to hear their end product being performed.

One of our visitors travelled from Paris to be with us and sung a Mozart aria from his popular opera ‘The Marriage of Figaro’. One student commented that they hadn’t heard anything like it in their whole lifetime!
