A Brilliant Beginning for Year 7 at Hatch End High School!
Posted on: 01/09/2025The first week of September marked a very special milestone for our new Year 7 students as they began their journey at Hatch End High School — and what a fantastic start it was!
The day began with a warm and inspiring assembly led by Mrs N Mohamed, Head of Year 7, alongside Ms M Dunford, Deputy Headteacher, and Mrs M Jeanes, our Headteacher. Their messages of encouragement, excitement, and support set the tone for a day full of smiles, curiosity, and new friendships.
Throughout the day, students spent quality time with their form tutors, getting to know one another and beginning to build the strong sense of community that Hatch End is known for. Break time was filled with laughter and chatter as new classmates connected and shared their first impressions of secondary school life.
Students also took part in activities designed to help them settle in smoothly — learning about the school’s systems, routines, and expectations. A guided tour of the school helped everyone feel more confident navigating their new environment, with many commenting on how welcoming and helpful staff and older students were.
