Year 7 Students Shine at the Headteacherâs Breakfast Celebration
Posted on: 25/03/2026On Wednesday 25th March, Hatch End High School proudly hosted the Year 7 Headteacher’s Breakfast, a special celebration recognising the top 50 students in the year group who achieved the highest progress scores in their first ever CAP assessment point at the school.
The morning was a wonderful occasion filled with positivity and pride. Students enjoyed a delicious breakfast selection, including fresh pastries, fruit, hot chocolate and juice, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere as they celebrated their impressive achievements.
The event was supported by three Year 8 Student Leaders, who helped welcome guests and contributed to the smooth running of the morning. Each Year 7 student received a Headteacher’s Award certificate, personally presented by Mrs Jeanes, Headteacher. We were also delighted to be joined by Ms Dunford, Deputy Headteacher, and Mrs Shaw, Assistant Head of Year for Year 7, who shared in the celebration and congratulated the students on their hard work.
These students truly embodied our school value of ambition, demonstrating dedication and determination in their learning. Their exceptional results in their first CAP assessments reflect a strong start to their secondary school journey, and we hope this celebration inspires them to continue striving for excellence.
A huge well done to all of the students recognised. You have made a fantastic start to Year 7, and we look forward to seeing what you achieve next.
