SoHK Trip to London Zoo

The School of Hard Knocks group of Year 9 boys recently enjoyed an exciting educational visit to the London Zoo. The day began with an engaging workshop led by tax company Ryan, where students learned about different types of tax and explored possible careers within the industry.

This was followed by a fascinating talk from a zoologist, who shared amazing animal facts — including that giraffes have the same number of vertebrae as humans, but each vertebra is roughly the size of a human head! Students then enjoyed a wander around the zoo, seeing a wide variety of animals, from majestic lions and mischievous monkeys, to playful penguins and beautiful butterflies. It was a fun and informative day for everyone involved. Thank you to Mr Farrar and Miss Williams for organising the day out.
