Headteacher's Breakfast Celebrates Year 10 Excellence

Wednesday, 3rd June marked a special occasion for Year 10 students, as the school proudly hosted its Headteacher’s Breakfast to recognise outstanding academic achievement. The event honoured the 50 students who achieved the highest progress scores in their recent assessments, celebrating both their dedication and their commitment to excellence.

Held in a warm and welcoming setting, the breakfast provided a well-deserved moment of recognition for the students, who have demonstrated exceptional focus and perseverance throughout the term. Staff expressed immense pride in the achievement of these students, highlighting the importance of celebrating success and encouraging continued effort.

The morning was made even more enjoyable with a delightful spread of breakfast treats. Students were treated to hot chocolates, freshly baked croissants, powdery chocolate delights, and an array of beautifully presented fruit. The relaxed, friendly atmosphere allowed students to enjoy their achievements alongside their peers and teachers.

The event was attended by Mrs Jeanes, who joined the celebration and helped to make the occasion memorable. Additional support was provided by Mr Williams and Mr Chimonas, Heads of Year 10, who took time to recognise the younger students’ accomplishments and offer encouragement for their future progress.

A particularly commendable contribution came from the 3 Peer Leaders, who volunteered their time to help set up and serve the breakfast. Their efforts did not go unnoticed; they played a key role in ensuring the event ran smoothly and created a welcoming environment for their fellow students. Their dedication and willingness to support their peers were appreciated by both staff and students alike.
