Hatch End High School celebrates excellent GCSE results and continued year-on-year improvement
Posted on: 21/08/2026We are very proud of our Year 11 cohort who have achieved excellent GCSE results at Hatch End continuing the trend of year on year increases in both attainment and progress!
These results again put us in the top 20% of schools nationally for progress which is fantastic and we are delighted that so many will be continuing with us at Hatch End into the 6th Form.
We thank all our staff, students and parents and know that this year group worked really hard and collaboratively and set a great example for our younger students.
There were many superb individual performances and here we celebrate a few: Ashvin achieved an impressive five grade 9s, and six other top grades and is planning to study Maths, Economics, Chemistry & Physics; Arjun, Daniel, Ved and Yashni all achieved four grade 9s alongside seven other top grades and are looking forward to studying a range of subjects including all 3 sciences, Economics and Further Maths. Alessia, Craig, Ayesha and Anna also achieved the top grades across the board and have all said how grateful they are for the expert advice, support and teaching their Hatch End teachers gave them, especially Anna who was new to the country in November of Year 11.
In addition, Alesia, Haiden, Ali, Aria, & Ayoub all achieved results that beat their targets by three whole GCSE grades in every subject which is a fabulous achievement, well done!
We are very proud to be celebrating these results with our wonderful students today.
