IMG 5462 (1)On Thursday 19th January, fifteen students represented Hatch End High School at this season’s Borough Cross-Country Championships at Harrow School.

Fantastic weather, with the sun out, we arrived for registration on the Ducker Fields, collecting electronic timing tags and warming up at the starting line. Years 7, 8 and 9 kick started the event, as they all ran for 2500m. Year 10 followed, with a longer route of 3500m.  A truly testing hilly course, with a mixture of playing fields, tracks and paths.

Well done to all of the following students who completed the course: Edward Sly, Leo Gurang, Caelan Mistry, Daniel Bursuc, Samuel Babooram, Nkosi Blake, David Bursuc, Jakai Nathan-Anderson, Ibrahim Warsame, Ruhi Mehta, Loanne Malfatte-Le-Gourrierec, Stefania Radu, Vanisha Maugi, Nadia Buslowska, and Aoife Rooney.

Congratulations to Edward Sly, who was selected to represent Harrow Borough in the Middlesex Schools Cross Country Championships.
