BSL Level 1: Celebrating Our Students' Success

On Wednesday 25th June, students from HIP were joined by their families, support staff and BSL Teacher, Marios Costi to celebrate working on their BSL Level 1 qualification this year. Students were presented with special awards, badges and trophies for their exceptional efforts and achievements. Deyaan and Rayan made a special presentation to Marios in BSL to thank him for his hard work on the project. We had a surprise announcement as four students have been waiting patiently for the results of their second exam and the results were in! Marios proudly announced on the stage that they had all passed! One more exam to go! Students had the chance to introduce their families to Marios and show off their signing skills. A huge congratulations to all students who have worked hard to learn BSL, their families who have supported them through their journey, the staff involved in making this project a success and Marios for being an amazing BSL teacher and deaf role model!
